Even windier than yesterday. 4.5 was mega stacked throughout. Could/should have been on 4.0 (apparently it was gusting 35mph+) but the top end of the superfreak is incredible and I was never uncomfortable. Oh how I love that sail.

The session started sh*t at low tide but after the tide had turned the ramps began to line up in an orderly fashion and the looping recommenced. Thanks to more "encouragement" from Steve I stepped up the rotation another notch today and the result - my first ever waterstart-away-from-a-forward!!! Whipped round, big back splat, but both feet were still in the straps, rig went straight up, hauled me back on the board and I sailed away. And then I did two more. Stoked!!!

Can't believe I'm considering this...but just maybe I am close to sailing away from a forward loop. Wow. Still lots to work on though.

Stacks of wind, sunshine and perfect tides. A great shingly windsurfing weekend. :)
